    Edward Estlin Cummings is a famous poet and novelist. A true man of art, he also loved playwrights, painting and drawing. His life, from 1894 to 1962, was lived with vivacity! He spent much of his life in his native state of Massachusetts, although some events in his life took him beyond the United States. Cummings served in the United States Army during World War I and also volunteered in an ambulance unit. Much of his life was also devoted to his studies at Harvard and his multiple romantic relationships. Despite these things taking up most of his time, Cummings managed to find time for his passion, writing. EE Cummings' unique writing style is attributed to his free spirit, which is equivalent to all his excellent works. Cummings' first major work was his novel The Enormous Room, published in 1922. It is an account written about his experiences in France during World War I, during which he was sent to a concentration camp after been accused of espionage.
