Edward Estlin Cummings is a famous poet and novelist. A true man of art, he also loved playwrights, painting and drawing. His life, from 1894 to 1962, was lived with vivacity! He spent much of his life in his native state of Massachusetts, although some events in his life took him beyond the United States. Cummings served in the United States Army during World War I and also volunteered in an ambulance unit.
