Success is the key to a productive business, but it's the actions each business takes that can make or break the life of their business. Most businesses strive to stay ahead of the technology curve while others are simply trying to meet the demands of their current prospects. Within every organization, there is a median of control. Without control, there would be no function. This control can be achieved in different ways and the most effective way is of course delegation. Delegation can be complicated or very simple. It all depends on the delegation process and the way in which it is applied within the company and all employees. Span of control plays a critical role in the delegation process. It has become very clear that control is essential when it comes to delegation. Without control, there is a sense of chaos that can be very detrimental to business success. Delegation is a very common term within the company I currently work for. My company has worked very hard to establish a delegation process that has proven to be effective for the betterment of the company and employees. PlanningAt the company I work at, a large amount of planning is involved in every project that we choose to undertake. This planning requires dedication and perseverance in order to arrive at a well-thought-out and productive plan of action. In this planning process, delegation comes into play. In order to complete any project, there must be a delegated plan that allows each employee to know and understand their specific tasks in order to get the job done. In my business, planning is the foundation of our success and the plan we delegate has become the glue that holds our project together when times get confusing or reluctant. Delegation allows employers to entrust specific tasks to employees to ultimately form a whole. Delegation is the definition of teamwork, in many cases where it is obvious that each employee must work together in order to create a better and more unique product.
