Being PregnantThroughout my teenage years, I always had it made. I had security, support from my family and other things. When I turned 16, I discovered something that would change my life forever: I was pregnant. As a teenager, I was anorexic, which meant I had difficulty gaining weight. If I had gained just a little weight, I went on a crash diet (eating nothing at all for a while) until I lost the weight I had gained. For a while, I had gone through a period where I did nothing but eat. My mother started asking questions and I told her everything was fine; I had just gone through one of my food crises. My uncle accidentally dropped me on a cement block, which injured my tailbone. So for the rest of my life my tailbone would freeze to where I couldn't move or just hurt all the time. The moral of this part is that when I was 16 my tailbone was frozen and my mother and brother took me to the hospital. I never imagined that this would be a turning point in my life. The doctor took x-rays to find out what was wrong and then sent us home saying he would call us if anything unusual came up. Later that day we were all watching TV when the phone rang. Little did I know that what he was about to tell me would result in the actions I needed to take. I answered the phone and it was the doctor.
