  • Essay / Musculoskeletal System Versus Nervous System - 1095

The human body is made up of several systems that work within each other, but each has its own job. Two examples of such systems are the musculoskeletal system, which gives the body the ability to contract all muscles. The nervous system is capable of sending messages through a system of wires present in the body. The musculoskeletal system and the nervous system differ from each other but are connected through the process of movement throughout the human body. The musculoskeletal system provides the capacity for movement. Therefore, the musculoskeletal system is made up of several different muscles that function in a certain way. Regardless, muscle functioning involves different stages that each muscle must go through to accomplish a certain task. Indeed, all muscles have the ability to contract and exert a pulling force. For this reason, muscle contractions are part of the movement of a certain part of each person's body. For this reason, muscle contractions form fibers packed together to form a myofibril-like stalk that contains two types of protein filaments. Additionally, these two protein filaments (myosin and actin) help contract muscle fibers. In return, when the muscle receives nerve impulses, the protein filaments contract, thus causing the muscle to contract in the body. Additionally, muscle mechanics play a role in this system. Therefore, the mechanics are organized in a specific way that allows tendons to attach muscles to bones. Similarly, tendons are hard, compacted cords that connect muscle to bone. They work like lever systems to move a certain part of the body. Additionally, the muscles work as opponents with an opposite result to generate a wide range of controlled movements. Even more, the...... middle of paper ....... Collaborative systems; movement accompanies every step or decision a person makes with their body. In fact, the human body is made up of different systems, but there is a distinct way of explaining how each has its own functions while having its similarities. The musculoskeletal system allows movement, with the bones, joints and skeleton all working together. The nervous system provides the five senses and one of the switching systems of the human body. I believe that the musculoskeletal system is the better of the two in the human body. I think this because everyone needs a skeleton so their body can stand up. Muscles help contract for movement. Joints also help by contributing to the flexibility and connection of bones. Additionally, the musculoskeletal system is capable of improving the body through its mechanics..
