    IntroductionBefore 1997, Hong Kong was the colony of the United Kingdom, the politics in Hong Kong is different from mainland China and unique from other countries. After 1997, Hong Kong's sovereignty regressed in favor of China, and then Hong Kong's policy was based on the "One Country, Two" system and is governed by the Hong Kong Basic Law. In the political system of almost every country, party policies would be found. Political parties could be divided into two main classes: authoritarian and democratic.
