Major Components of Lord of the FliesA civilized group of British boys find themselves stranded on an island without adults. During their fight for survival, they are confronted by a beast. While some of them surrender to the beast, others find themselves engaged in an intricate dance with it. The most complex children like Ralph are at war in their own minds. The boys try to stay civilized by using the conch as an icon of power and order. Savagery and corruption also run rampant on this island, the pig dance as well as the masks show the true colors of their inner beasts. Jack and his altar boys quickly break away from Ralph and Piggy and attempt to create their own vision of society with anyone willing to join them. As the boys reached the top of the mountain while exploring the island, they saw something straighten up. They were terrified and fled from this “monster” living on the mountain.
