Introduction: Leadership competencies are leadership skills and behaviors that contribute to superior leader performance. Are leaders born or made? Thesis Statement: A leader can be born, not born. A leader builds trust, influences, communicates with peers and leads by example. A leader builds trust by showing his soldiers that he is on their side and defending them.
