    Corporate greed is a hotly debated topic in today's society. Oil company profits are soaring while people struggle to pay for gas and heat their homes. Bank executives collect huge bonuses after government bailout money, while hundreds of thousands of people still face mortgage foreclosures. Big businesses appear to be recovering from the 2008 recession, but don't seem to be taking people with them as unemployment remains high. In response to these issues, “Occupy Wall Street” has risen to complain about both corporate greed and the fact that governments in the United States and around the world have enabled them to do so. One of the problems with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement is that it has no defined demands or lines on the issue. Thousands of people are protesting for different reasons, and while they are all related to OWS, they are so different that it is difficult to decipher what OWS actually wants and who is responsible for the continued collapse of the economy. In March of this year, before the OWS protest began, Zac Ellis published an article about a speech Ralph Nader gave at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In this article, Nader states, “Corporations run America and younger generations let it happen.” Corporations have “a dominant hold on American society” and it is our duty, and duty, to change the way things are run (Ellis). Nader opens his speech with a powerful statement: “The Constitution begins with the preamble “We the People,” it does not begin with the preamble “We the Corporation” (Ellis).
