Essay / Strategic Advances During the Napoleonic Wars certain parties in their victories. Many of the advancements that played an important role in history took place in the late 18th century and into the 19th century, as this was the period of our important revolutionary wars, such as the American Revolution and the American Revolution. The Revolutionary Wars led to many advances that helped define the outcomes of many wars that followed, for example the impact on military strategies due to the advancement of the rifle during the Napoleonic Wars. The Napoleonic Wars took place just after the French Revolution, from around 1792 until 1815, when Napoleon Bonaparte took over French troops and continued to fight Britain for European supremacy. Napoleon was always known to be a proud leader and made a proclamation in 1796 to his troops in Italy to boost their morale, consisting of quotes such as: "The two armies which recently attacked you with boldness are fleeing before you with terror; the wicked who laughed at your misery and rejoiced at the thought of the triumphs of your enemies are confused and trembling” (Kreis). These wars led by Napoleon consisted of a decade of wars fought between the British and the French which led to Napoleon's defeat at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, due to the use of advanced weapons and strategies by the British Army (Dugdale). .In the beginning, acts of war were always simple and direct, where both sides chose their weapons, lined up in single file, headed towards... middle of paper ...... the stages of success or The seeds of failure?
