My essay is about the minimum wage in America and how people suffer every day to get the minimum wage they receive day in and day out. Even if they work two minimum wage jobs, they still can't support their family. I also explain why they should raise the minimum wage to at least ten dollars and I will compare the minimum wage between Michigan and other states. The history of the minimum wage from 1938 to 2013 and how it has changed dramatically over the years. Personally, I would protect it because I know that I am doing something for myself and for my children when they grow up and have a job and they will receive at least a good sum. money at the end of each week. I think many of the minimum wage jobs are usually the tough ones that cause people to stress out and quit, which can give the company a bad reputation.
