Our society is entirely based on appearance and what “perfect women should be”. To be pretty you must have a perfect body, perfect face and perfect hair. You could never cut your hair short because you would be considered a dyke. If your makeup isn't perfect you are considered ugly and if you don't have an "hourglass figure" you are considered fat and overweight. “Despite greater self-esteem, women do not feel good about their appearance.
