In the majority of the articles, I found my views on leisure to be similar in almost every sense of the word. For example, AJVeal said that leisure is therefore a block of unoccupied time, free time or free time when we are free to rest or do whatever we want. Leisure is the time beyond what is necessary for existence, the things we must do, biologically, to stay alive (i.e. eat, sleep, eliminate, heal, etc.) : and subsistence, the things we have to do to earn a living like at work, or prepare to earn a living like at school, or pay for what we want to do if we don't do it ourselves. Leisure is a time when our feelings of constraint should be minimal. It is discretionary time, time to be used according to our own judgment or choice. As Veal said, “Idle time is leisure.” Spending this time with leisure activities is what separates individuals. For me, a normal leisure activity would be going to the gym or playing a board game with my family after a long, stressful day.
