    SUMMARY: Warming up before exercise is a very important factor for individuals all over the world to understand. Many think the idea of ​​warming up is a false hope of preventing injuries, but that's not true. Warming up the muscles before exercise helps warm up the tissues and enzymes necessary for muscle recruitment and, in turn, allows the muscle to stretch further and helps prevent possible muscle injuries. When designing exercise programs, there are many factors and variables that need to be considered before creating the actual exercise matrix. It is very important to consider each individual and create each program around their goal; However, every program must follow a set of constants. The constants are the principles of the very design of the exercise program. These principles can then be manipulated to reflect each individual's desired response. The basis of the exercise begins with a series of steps that first begin with warming up. Many people do not understand the importance of a warm-up which can consist of general, specific, performance and functional warm-ups.1 Warm-up or progressive preparation is based on the understanding of kinetics, which is the study of motion and its causes.1 When objects move under the stress of resistance caused by friction, tension, and other stresses, they do not have the same ability to accelerate. The human body works this way: cold tissues are less flexible, cellular enzymes are less active, and neuronal conduction is less efficient.2 For the body to function at its optimal level, it must first be warmed up.
