Since the beginning of civilization, man has carried out numerous studies of the natural wonders of the world in an attempt to solve the seemingly complex and insoluble mysteries of the world. However, there is one phenomenon that no amount of scientific or mathematical skill can completely decipher. The relationship between men and women has been a topic of interest for generations. Spectrums ranging from interpersonal relationships to differences in brain function and development have been studied to achieve a better understanding of the sexes. Researchers of this age are continually trying to bridge the gap of ignorance of communication between men and women. learning more about the opposite sex is one step closer to understanding ourselves better. Today, many people know that men and women are different, but few take the time to understand the extent of our disparities. Genetically, males and females possess similar qualities. Each human being receives exactly twenty-three pairs of autosomal chromosomes which determine the physical traits shared by the two gender groups. However, the last sets of chromosomes are different, which determines the sex of the child. A woman's genetic code contains a pair of XX chromosomes and a man's genetic code contains a pair of XY chromosomes. In addition to these obvious physical differences, there are some characteristics that may be difficult for most to contemplate. Even though men and women are genetically similar, they tend to communicate differently. According to basic anatomy, men are motivated by testosterone, which is the primary male sex hormone. Testosterone is commonly known as a catalyst for male puberty that promotes the growth of facial hair, increased height, and the development of muscle mass. Men and women need to understand that when trying to communicate with each other, we are "wired differently" and may need more in-depth explanations to get our message across or understand better.
