Since I chose to stay home to care for my children for many years, I realized that my employment was very limited. After working for several years for various companies, promotions to management or a higher level or position were impossible without a college degree. I noticed colleagues whose college educations had been promoted or who had better professional careers. After facing these challenges, it inspired me to pursue college to obtain a degree and hopefully pursue a career in marketing.
