Most universities offer part-time postgraduate programmes. In the article on Lifelong Learning for Engineers, it is stated that the challenge faced by engineers is that “lifelong learning is as essential for engineers as their education initial and their certification. Continuing professional development is an urgent imperative to ensure public safety, a sustainable environment, a competitive national economy, a respected profession, a profitable employer, and a fulfilling career” (p. 1). One of the most important factors in continuing engineering education is that a recent graduate needs to gain some experience. So she should first get some training in her field of study and gain practical experiences in the real world because this training or experience will play a huge role in the future. Engineers are responsible for finding continuing engineering education opportunities to maintain their professional abilities.
