It was an international play because Ibsen used this play based on some of the things he was going through. The symbols of the dollhouse are a Christmas tree and New Year's Day. The Christmas tree, a festive object intended to fulfill a decorative function, symbolizes Nora's place in her house as a toy that is pleasant to look at and adds charm to the house. New Year's Eve represents the action of the play, which takes place at Christmas time, and Nora and Torvald both look forward to the New Year as the beginning of a new, happier phase of their lives. The characters of the play are Nora, she is the wife of Torvald, during the play it seems that she is not happy, Nora is the main character of the story, at the beginning of the story after returning from shopping Christmas she ate macarons and her husband Torvald asked her if she ate macarons and she said no, we can say that she likes to lie or that she likes to hide things from her husband, she is... .... middle of paper...... to me being a grown man and doing things like a real woman would do and taking the time to learn more about the world, one morning after all the two thought about certain things, Nora and Torvald discussed it and he told her that he didn't blame her. everything, that he loves her and he wanted to stay with her and be like before and make her happy, but he didn't realize that she wasn't happy at all, so she told him that she had decided that he was going to leave him and make a life with the dollhouse she still lives in and do more things in the world, she said her children would be in better hands if Torvald kept them for the time being , she took her wedding and I gave her the ring and told her it would be better if he didn't write to her for the time being until she became a grown woman like Mrs. Linde. This is essentially what the story is about..
