She asked the students to learn some idiomatic expressions and they role-played in groups. Each group had to come up with a scene involving certain idioms which they had to perform in front of the students. If students did not mention expressions correctly and accurately, she would review them at the end. She also asked students to count how many idioms they got out of ten if they got them all, meaning their performance was excellent. Having the student act in a situation similar to the real situation improves their memory so that they remember the same situation in the future. In other words, they correspond to real events which are apparently stored in long-term memory. They might also use it in the exact context that requires them to use these types of idioms.
