Zuni is thirty-four miles south of the city in New Mexico. in addition to the reservation, the tribe owns trust lands in Catron County, Land of Enchantment, and Apache County, Arizona. The Zuni people have lived in the Southwest for thousands of years. Their cultural and spiritual traditions are enduring, in large part, in their people's deep and close ties to the mountains, forests and deserts of this ancient Zuni state. Mainly farmers, the Zuni cultivate corn and wheat and participate in the creation of jewelry. it has become a very important additional source of financial gain for people. Early Zuni life is familiarized around a system of linear social groups and a fanciful ceremonial system that supported a belief within the ancestors (the elders). There are six specialized groups, each with a limited number of members and their own profession, dedicated to the worship of a specific group of supernaturals. During the famous Shalako show, held at the start of winter, dancers representing the messengers of the rain deities return to bless the new houses. A technique that the Zuni people specific to these cultural traditions is through their art: in painting, pottery, jewelry and fetish sculpture, for example. This is vital for the Zuni to unite the past with the present. The Noongar are an indigenous Australian tribe located in the south-western corner of the Australian state, from Geraldton on the geographical area to Esperance on the south coast. Historically, they inhabited the area from Jurien Bay to the south coast of Western Australia, and east to what is now Ravensthorpe. Once a valuable natural resource is discovered on a reserve, the government wants to be able to exploit it, but the native people will not allow it. They say it is their land to which the government has no rights. In conclusion, Aboriginals and Native Americans were treated unequally by Europeans. They were stripped of their land and rights and mistreated. This gave them typical reflections on their history that allow them to connect within their groups/tribes. It also shows the inhumanity of individuals, especially European settlers. So they believe that they have the right to take another man's property/and/or land and evict them so that they can get what the other person has. It makes one believe in the final lack of kindness, generosity and human sympathy in the world..
