    Homeschooling was once considered a crazy concept, but now it is gaining popularity and turning into a normal phenomenon. This is not surprising because of the increasing levels of performance that most homeschooled students experience in college and throughout their lives. Homeschooling teaches a child several life skills from a young age, such as time management and working on a schedule. It also offers a flexible schedule that allows students to have beneficial life experiences, such as finding a job. It also allows students to work at their own pace, making the best use of their time. Enabling homeschooled children to be better prepared to enter college than their publicly schooled peers, leading to greater success. Although homeschooling is considered a different concept, it is extremely old. Some world-famous figures were homeschooled: William Blake, Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie, Benjamin Franklin, Woodrow Wilson, Winston Churchill, Florence Nightingale, Charlie Chaplin, the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison. With the advent of public schools in America, homeschooling began to decline, but this concept returned due to some activities having negative effects in public schools. The education system of all schools has been on a downward slope for many years. As the amount of drugs, school shootings and other cases of dementia increase in these schools, more and more parents are choosing to homeschool their children. Although many people claim that public education is better and more child-friendly, many facts and statistics show that homeschooling is just as, if not more, beneficial.
