Illegal immigration is a major problem facing most developed countries in today's economy. This is a major political issue for the political parties (Republicans and Democrats in America) and over the years, each party has adopted a different agenda to address this problem. Illegal immigration can be defined as the movement of people from a country of origin to a country of destination without any legal documentation and violates the immigration laws of the country of destination. People have moved from one country to another over the years to escape a war situation or to get better facilities in different countries. Countries have set immigration laws to prevent people from entering their territory without proper documentation, as the social and time constraints problems linked to illegal immigration affect areas such as social protection, healthcare health, voting rights, the economy and human rights. A person may be classified as an illegal immigrant in a country if he or she is not a national of a country of residence and entered the country without any legal documents or resides with expired documents. Illegal immigration can occur for a variety of reasons, but one of the main causes is The years were marked by civil wars that pushed people across the borders of other countries. Another factor may be poverty, where people migrate legally or illegally from other countries for better paying jobs and better living conditions.
