Essay / Career Essay: My Dream Career to Become a Detective
My dream career is to be a detective. The reason I study or want to pursue this career is because I want to help people find what they are looking for. I want to be able to make people smile and make them happy. Another reason I'm looking for this career is because I think it's something I'd like to do. It’s a job I want to wake up for every morning. Yes, there will be days when I don't want to wake up and do my work, but that's part of life, you have to do things sometimes you don't want to do, like waking up early for school. I chose this career because I enjoy working with people. In this career, you will work with many different people in your career field. In my career as a detective, I have the opportunity to work with many people, such as police officers, the SWAT team, and sometimes the CIA. My story can go on forever until the first missing child was blamed on a milk cartoon. The one that caught my eye would go back to the time when Kate Warne, the first female detective, solved her first case. Many people doubted her because she was a woman and she was the only woman working there. My personal opinion would be that a woman can do anything a man can do. Kate Warne is the woman who proved them wrong. They doubted her so much that they wouldn't give her any information about a case because they thought she couldn't solve a case. So one day, she decided to look into her own case. In doing so, she discovered the two missing people she was looking for. When she came to tell her colleagues that she had solved the case, they were so surprised and let her start working on cases with them. So the truth is that if a woman tries her best, she can achieve anything a man can. As a detector... middle of paper ... pretty competitive. The most qualified detectives and criminal investigators will have the best employment opportunities in police departments. The best opportunities for detectives and criminal investigators will be those who are bilingual as well as those who have an academic background in police science or have experience in military police. In some police departments, a detective position is not named, it is a position obtained by passing a written test after a person has met the requirements to become a police officer.
