    Stress often leads to overeating or undereating. Likewise, these scenarios can lead to serious health risks. Eating too much can lead to being overweight or obese, which can lead to the development of other problems. For example, obesity is often linked to the development of heart disease (Eckel). Heart disease requires extensive medical care that will cost the individual even more. This vicious cycle never ends and leads to a very dangerous lifestyle on campus. The health of the USC community is increasingly neglected by the Lyon Center. In theory, the gym is a great way to stay fit while bonding with classmates. Sadly, the state of the gym often encourages competition and simple frustration. With machines limited and mostly out of service, people often have to wait a few minutes to use the machine. Standing is impractical when students have many other tasks to complete, so they often leave the gym without training properly. Months without proper training cause people to gain weight and lead unhealthy lifestyles.
