different presentations throughout this term, each topic seems different. However, when I think critically, they are actually interrelated. For example, I want to talk about the race group. Firstly, I think they did a very good job of presenting it; they gave clear explanations on the topic and context of the academic presentation. They also created a website for the final presentation, it was very interesting. They handed out cards about the Race for Justice project, which had its own website. This reminds me that this topic does not only concern us but also everyone in the world. I really like this idea, which can get more people thinking about the relationship between punishment and racism. We can see that these topics are in fact related to ours, they have influenced our daily lives and affect those around us. We must also study problems through past history, so as not to make mistakes again. Their project mainly talks about how Canadian history has affected different people, and racial issues still appear. Additionally, I remember during their presentation they talked about how Muslims were informally punished simply because of their race.
