He was accompanied by other children from his neighborhood. Officer Jim Bob noticed the incident while patrolling the area and arrested the juveniles. He asked all the minors to go straight home. He warned the individuals that if he saw them engaging in similar activities, he should petition them. Jack went straight home and received no complaints for this or any similar offense. On June 4, 2000, Jack Daniels was found at a party with alcohol on his breath. The juvenile complied with authorities and was escorted by Officer Bill Otto to the Blue Earth County Law Enforcement Center. Officer Otto called the minor's parents and they agreed to place him in their custody. The minor was charged with underage consumption once his parents arrived. The respondent was ordered to complete a diversion program which included: 20 hours of community service, attending an alcohol awareness class, and writing a paper on the effects of alcohol on the body. He accomplished all of the above successfully and on time. Reason for hearing: On October 16, 2001, Jack Daniels and other minors were reported to the authorities. At approximately 10:30 p.m. on the indicated evening, a 911 call was made by a gas station attendant who reported that four young men were fighting in the parking lot of the Texaco gas station. Officers Cari Peiper and Leon Hoppe arrived on scene and found Daniels assaulting another individual. Officers apprehended all juveniles and escorted them to the Blue Earth County Law Enforcement Center. Officers noted that Jack was upset and disturbed by the incident. Jack and a friend, Johnny Walker, suffered no serious injuries, only cuts and bruises. Gaylord Focker, however, suffered multiple injuries, including several bruises, scrapes and cuts. Gaylord Focker was admitted to Immanual St. Joseph Hospital with a minor concussion, but was released a few hours later. Focker's friend Brad Kraus was also at the scene. He also suffered minor cuts and bruises. The juveniles were all released to their parents after answering questions from the Blue Earth County Law Enforcement Center..
