    IntroductionThis essay will discuss different theories of group work, theories that will help you become a good team member in a youth work context . We will also apply it to your role as a youth practitioner. There are two theorists named Tuckman and Belbin. We will include their beliefs and perspectives on becoming a successful team member and how you can develop teamwork skills using a developmental stage model. We will compare the two theories, identify their weaknesses and strengths and relate them to working with young people. First of all, we will give a brief description of the conditions of teamwork. Subsequently we will start with Tuckmans' theory and then follow Belbin's theory. After discussing both theories. After the two views, we will examine its actual success and include reporting other people's views on these theories, and see if the theories are successful.
