A little girl's perception of the world forces her to wear a mask hiding her true identity. Underneath is someone who is afraid and lonely because “the fear of being judged is so powerful that many hide forever” (JAJAvankova) and she is no exception. Leaving a void that longs for friends, “not friends with the same mask but those who have the same reason to hide beneath them…” (JAJAvankova). Artistically based on a true story, concept by Jaja Vankova and assisted by Phillip Chbeeb, told this tragic story through the soundtrack of Edward Scissorhands' main theme. The performance was filmed on location at the Movement Lifestyle Dance Studio in North Hollywood, California, Los Angeles and uploaded to the YouTube channel "Jajavankova" on January 1, 2013. Depicting the fear that takes root in the mind of the little girl as the result of the actions of others. Succeed in telling the story through the different dance styles, the technical embodiment of the dramatic tale and the way in which the overall piece best adapts to the tragic nature of the story. The little girl looking for expectations and fearing that expectation brought this story to life. Phillip Chbeeb begins the tale with a monologue introducing Jaja's character as lonely and companionless with only sticks painted on his hands to keep him company. The feeling of despair fills the atmosphere as all seems lost in the darkness that torments the little girl. Jaja and Phillip's concept approached this piece as it relates to the tale on which it is artistically based. The success of the play rested on the fact that all participants transmitted visual images for fear of judgment from others. The technical aspects are more philosophical and don't degrade performance with unnecessary sounds or extra accessories. Additionally, the care taken in planning the different dance styles brought variety and added drama to the overall performance.
