There are many countries in the world that work very well with other types of governments like constitutional monarchy and republics. Countries like Canada, which operate with two different types of government, one being a parliamentary democracy and the other a constitutional monarchy, are making much more progress than the United States, even though their constitutional forms may be different. People there focus more on the important things, rather than having to compete and have an idea of who and who is better. They have lower unemployment and tax rates. Another important factor in maintaining the stability of a democratic country is economic security. If money does not remain stable, it can create wealth separation. This complicates things because there are people who have many more advantages than others. In the article Why the Rich Are Getting Richer and the Poor Are Getting Poorer, Robert Reich explains how big businesses found a way to increase profits with cheaper labor, thereby causing unemployment and financial distress of the lower class. If the rich have more privileges than the poor, then there is no equal opportunity for everyone. Those with more money are more powerful, which poses the problem that the people's vote is not distributed fairly. A problem in the United States is that the rich have more advantages, but in Canada things are distributed
