Phil Jackson is a well-known man in the world of basketball, as a coach and championship leader. Not only for his knowledge of basketball was he considered excellent, but also for his use of alternative spiritual methods to aid in his training. Thanks to his naturalistic and pantheistic worldview, he left a legacy of a model. Phil Jackson's money and career, his views on the nature of God and his family are ultimately shaped by his worldview of naturalism and pantheism. By comparing my worldview of Christianity to Phil Jackson's family, career, and nature of God, we will determine if role model status is relevant to how I viewed a role model. Phil Jackson found a career in basketball, playing professionally and then coaching. . Jackson began playing college basketball and then the NBA, which increased his love for the sport and thus turned it into a career. In 1998, Jackson had the highest regular season winning percentage, then coached and won 11 championship games during his career. This meant that when he was coaching, he used his spirituality of naturalism, particularly humanism, and pantheism, particularly Buddhism, to guide his team. He has such contrasting worldviews that I'm still not sure Jackson's life is based on the successes of the world and the lives of humans, which I don't find as important to my belief in Christianity. , I believe in serving God through my life, like Jesus as an example. I strive to be selfless, generous and not focus on anything else like Jesus. So much so that I believe in a different view of the world than Phil Jackson, I don't see him as a role model.
