Essay / The Need for Proper Organization Assessment...
Since organizations actually affect almost every aspect of our daily lives, it is essential for us to understand the what, how and why organizations (Buchanan and Huczynski, 2010). . Therefore, proper assessment of organizational behavior is necessary. This essay will analyze the application of a critical thinking model to the study of organizational behavior. To do this, it will first be necessary to clearly define the key terms, generally describing Taylorism, Fordism and post-Fordism, then proceed to analyze different examples. These examples would relate to the theories of organizational behavior mentioned above and the relationships between them. Following the analysis, a summary must be drawn up emphasizing the benefit of applying an analytical method to understand organizational behavior. What makes this subject particularly interesting is that it connects an interdisciplinary field of research (Buchanan & Huczynski, 2010) with a concrete way of perceiving and then questions it. However, it must remain clear that the term "critical approach", in the sense of understanding organizational behavior, would mean the same thing as if a critical approach were applied within the field of study, i.e. approach that challenges the status quo and does not challenge the status quo. ignoring perspectives that are systematically ignored or otherwise excluded (Knights & Willmott, 2007). The first concept considered is Taylorism. As Frederick Winslow Taylor, the idea of scientific management theory is considered the basis of modern management (Buchanan & Huczynski, 2010).
