Luke 14:28 asks, “For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the costs, to find out if he has what it takes to finish him off? » (ESV). 1 Corinthians 14:40 advises “But everything must be done decently and in order” (ESV). These two passages reflect the importance of due diligence in developing and maintaining cost and time schedules. Implementing a project and managing control measures is often a complex matrix involving many components and stakeholders. However, maintaining the integrity of cost, time and quality is essential to continued project management success. Galatians 6:9 reminds us to be diligent in our efforts; “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for we will reap in due time, if we do not forsake.”
