Essay / Leadership Development Plan - 2377
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PLANJourney as a LeaderLeadership is a process of influence in which an individual can enlist the help and support of others to accomplish a specific goal or task . Leadership has nothing to do with seniority or position, with titles, personal qualities but rather a leader is someone who has followers, has the ability to transform a vision into reality. We live in a society where there are limited interactions, resources, and skills. which raise issues such as culture, economic transactions, government and governance, international relations, arts and entertainment, which must be treated religiously. So, when it comes to these topics, leadership has helped me focus more on many factors that have caused the slow development of Ghana as a nation and Africa as a whole. I was also able to determine the connection between leadership and an ideal society. I also learned that every society has elites and that their actions could have multiplier effects on everyone, mainly on the masses who constitute the invisible forces capable of bringing about change. The only way to make change is to learn from others, become pragmatic and make informed decisions. My journey in Leadership Four has taught me to be a much better person and to believe in myself. It helped me manage my emotions and those of others, know my strengths and weaknesses, and find ways to exploit them to my advantage while not harming society. Being the head of four classes was a revelation. and an inspiring experience. People like the late Gloria de Souza, Jeroo Billimoria and Veronica Khosa embody leadership. These are people who dared to think and do things differently, who dealt with the middle of paper...progress and loss. I require myself to be accountable to my roommates, friends, family and loved ones who would help me achieve these goals and the people who have invested in me. My executor would be my roommate who is also one of my classmates thus ensuring effective supervision. RewardsIn reference to rewards, success in all of the above or at least some would lead to personal fulfillment. I would begin to feel like I had matured enough to take on bigger tasks in the world. The fact that I have been able to change some of my bad aspects means that I can help others to do so. Sanctions My failure to achieve these goals would lead me to do a thorough self-assessment to find out why and if this is not happening. well, I may need to see a psychologist to guide me through a step-by-step approach to self-discipline, a career path advisor, or a counselor for help..
