Researchers at Johns Hopkins University were quoted as saying, "Most supplements do not prevent chronic disease or death, their use is not justified, and they should be avoided." Vitamin supplements don't live up to the "hype" and carry risks for users. The relative ineffectiveness of vitamins is generally a poorly documented case. After a decade of testing a vitamin pill to fight Alzheimer's disease by boosting cognitive behavior, Harvard researchers proclaimed the pill ineffective.
