  • Essay / Secular Humanism and Christianity - 737

When it comes to speaking with someone who might have a different outlook on life, you need to be very careful not to offend or hurt someone. Just because someone lives next to you your whole life doesn't mean they share the same worldview as you. The United States today, as it has been for years, is a place where people can live with different cultures, a melting pot as some call it. Some cultures are easier to talk to than others. Some beliefs do not go hand in hand with a Christian worldview. Some believe that there are many gods and others do not believe in any god or higher power. Within each religion, there are multiple views on the religion itself. In the United States, it seems that many people have a secular humanist worldview. The Renaissance changed so much in the way people trusted the word of God. This has allowed the word of God to reach more people and has also given rise to people doubting the word. Since people already had a questioning nature, this allowed people to begin to question their very being. Is there a God? How come I've never seen any proof of this, says God? How come scientists say humans evolved from apes? The issue of the origin of secular humanism's view is that they tend to follow the scientific view of evolution. Science has proven that evolution has changed all of the inherited characteristics of our chemical makeup over time. Humans are just apes who have changed over time to become what we are today. Humans have adapted to walking upright and have a common language. The question of identity means that being human means we have to face a problem head on and use reason and science to find middle of paper... ...cities are exactly where they are supposed to be. Objects left by these cultures have been found. The bow was found frozen in ice in Türkiye. Man was created in the image of God. This is something we can believe since science has proven that other elements have been found. Our morality depends on the culture in which we grew up. Know the values of life and how each thing we do reflects on us as a person. People have a sinful nature and need to ask for forgiveness. We don't do what's right, but what we think is right at the moment. Our destiny is carved in stone. God has a plan for each of us and one day we will sit down with Him at a table prepared for us. Galileo said: “Where the senses fail us, reason must intervene. » The reason is that God sent his son to save us from ourselves. God knew we couldn't do everything ourselves. He gave us his word to save us from condemnation.
