Five Forces AnalysisPorter's Five Forces Analysis is a tool used to analyze the level of competition within an industry and to develop a business strategy. It focuses on the economics of industrial organization to deduce the five forces that determine the competitive intensity and attractiveness of an industry. The five forces include: threat of new competitors, bargaining power of buyers and buyers, bargaining power of suppliers, threat of substitute products, and rivalry among competitors.
