  • Essay / Globalization in the 21st Century World - 1107

For example, in the case of developing countries, lack of opportunities in their countries forces them to look for alternative ways to survive. The aspect of globalization therefore helps developed countries to come to the aid of these countries, especially by providing them with food products and medical supplies. This serves to help them and set an example for other nations. The security aspect arises when citizens of developing countries decide to use escape routes to other places. They immigrate in the hope of living the “American dream” once they arrive in Europe, parts of Asia or even the United States. Once individuals from these parts of the developing world arrive there, they may lack opportunities and thus decide to join criminal gangs that would help them survive there. Ultimately, they prove to be threats to national security. Although not all, some are good and once they immigrate there, they may get lucky and get a chance to work. Others continue to look for better opportunities despite the problems they encounter in another country.
