    America has a long history of racism. This fact is more easily understood if racism is understood for what it really is. This is more than just personal hatred. Racism is “the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another, that a person's social and moral traits are predetermined by their innate biological characteristics” (What is Racism). The 21st century has brought many changes to American society. Nevertheless, racism still exists due to the fact that it is still impossible to convince the hearts of humanity in terms of racism, leading many people to wonder how and when black and white racism will end in America . Many solutions have been suggested, and one of them concerns black and white interracial relationships. Such relationships have recently seen success in the 21st century, which brings us to the definitive question: Can interracial relationships help reduce black and white racism in the 21st century? Situation BackgroundIn the early 20th century, racism was largely black and white. ; today, racism has become multicultural and multicolored. The period from 1890 to 1940 is known as the Jim Crow era in the history of prejudice against African Americans. Millions of people were brutalized, killed, and scared to death for voting and formal education during these years. The concept of “lynching,” in which whites openly “punished” the black population, was a widespread practice. White people were publicly hanging black people for petty reasons all over the country.
