Is sleeping important in life or not? Sleeping well is indeed an important part of life, as it gives us the energy and spirit to be at our best during the day. If sleep did not play an important role in life, no one would truly enjoy their life. Sleep can also have good effects in life, both emotional and physical. If the person doesn't sleep, they can become moody and lazy, and no one wants to be around people who act this way. It's important to figure out how much sleep we need, so we can be ourselves during the day. Now, why is the need for sleep so important, especially for adolescents? Well, first of all, it's good to know how much sleep teenagers need, what causes lack of sleep and what can be done to get more sleep. How much sleep do teenagers need? People need different amounts of sleep at different ages. Sleep needs can also be impacted depending on the sex of the person. According to the article How Much Sleep Do We Really Need, “Sleep needs vary by age and are particularly influenced by lifestyle and health.” In other words, the quality of sleep will depend on the social status of the person and their state of health. So, exactly how much sleep do teenagers need? The sleep need of adolescents will not be the same as that of adults, and the sleep need of adolescents will not be the same as that of small children. According to (Smith, A and Segal), “5 to 12 year olds need at least 10 to 11 hours of sleep, 12 to 18 year olds need at least 8.5 to 10 hours of sleep, and adults (18 years and older) need at least 8.5 to 10 hours of sleep. at least 7.5 to 9 hours of sleep. As you can see, a teenager's need for sleep is smaller than that of a small child, and an adult's need for sleep is smaller than middle of paper......
