This is one of its strong points, but it is only mentioned on the last page. This seems like information she should have included earlier. In general, I found the last page of the essay to be difficult to read. I got lost in a jumble of information that I thought was misplaced at the end of the essay when it should have been at the beginning or middle. Wallace finally had a good opportunity to make her major claim, but she lost the hearing due to poor organization. Although Wallace used universal values to try to persuade the audience, his argument failed for three reasons. The majority of articles fail due to a general lack of credibility and evidence. This is because she bases much of her argument solely on her personal experience. The final reason I found his essay unsuccessful was the generally choppy nature of the article due to poor organization. Overall, Wallace's argument could have been more effective if she had focused on actual evidence rather than concrete evidence.
