    Life on earth would not exist without water. No planet could possibly exist with any form of life without the common thing we call water. In my home state of Washington, there are many surrounding bodies of water. For cities and their economies, water is essential and cannot be replaced or removed. Nothing can replace it. However, it may be damaged. Around large cities, the air can become polluted and thus pollute the famous constant rain that falls. There have been several cases where swimmers have become ill from bacteria, viruses and other contaminants in the beach water. Contamination of certain areas of Washington state's beaches and lakes is creating a problem not only for swimmers but also for the marine life that lives in these waters. Rightly so, the WA government should protect its people and test for harmful elements in common areas known for human-water interactions. You have to do some kind of on-site testing....
