The rapid development of the global economy with the opening of new markets across the world gave rise to the development of new means of production and also the change in ideologies across the world. Along with this, the division between different groups or classes within societies became more evident as some people became richer and others became poorer. These two phenomena, the global development of industries and the resulting class struggles, were analyzed by two major thinkers of their time, Karl Marx and Robert Reich. Their essays have been influential and are similar in that they analyze the existing conditions of societies and give projections about the future destiny of people, or more specifically, the destiny of classes. In this article, the focus will be on the fate of the richest people; they are the bourgeois for Marx and the symbolic analysts for Reich. More specifically, it will be argued that the rich will be in the worst situation according to Marx and that this position will cover two aspects: the material aspect, that is to say the way in which the rich will end up managing their properties, and the antagonism inherent in classes and goods. its consequences for the rich. The conditions described and analyzed by the two thinkers are very similar and focus on the rapid development of global trade and global economic cooperation. Meanwhile, Reich does not mention any tension between the different classes. Marx sees the fate of the rich in their defeat by the proletariat. However, considering that Reich describes modern times and having witnessed the fall of the USSR, a model of Marxist rule, should we look more closely at Reich's predictions about the fate of the rich ??
