    Electronic cigarettes have enjoyed enormous success in the US market in recent times. Technically, e-cigarettes don't produce smoke, but they do produce vapor and aren't much different from regular cigarettes. Even though e-cigarette can be considered safer than regular cigarettes, it still contains nicotine and other chemicals that are harmful to the human body. E-cigarettes may be a positive step away from tobacco products, but in the long term they are no different from regular cigarettes and could have negative consequences. Thus, electronic cigarettes must be restricted, regulated and treated like “regular cigarettes”. The electronic cigarette is also known as "vaping" which vaporizes a liquid solution containing nicotine using heat powered by a battery held in a mouthpiece of the device. Young adults believe it is safer than a regular tobacco product due to the presence of less harmful chemicals, but its safety has not been thoroughly verified.
