  • Essay / Mountain Lion Descriptive Essay - 1211

I don't remember how I got that little cut because I don't remember being scratched. As I lay there, wrapped in my very bright lime green colored blanket, I realized that I might be coming across a beautiful but deadly beast. My grandmother came into the room and gave me a big hug because she thought I was leaving the property to go to one of the neighbors' houses and got lost in the woods. I didn't tell my grandmother what I saw because I thought if I told her I wouldn't be able to go out. She asked me why I was lying in the snow with my eyes closed and I told her that I saw a snow angel making but that I was tired from walking around. She said I had only been gone for maybe ten minutes and I smiled and said yes. It had changed my perception of nature because I thought all animals were kind and I didn't think any of them could hurt me. Seeing this cat with this red, gooey substance coming out of its mouth showed me that nature could harm me if I didn't.
