The conflict between science and religion has been considered over the years to be a major conflict. Through the film Contact directed by Robert Zemeckis, I will further explore how the film resolves the age-old conflict between science and religion through the hero myth. ¬¬The film Contact is about discovering where the human race began as well as its first confrontation with aliens. The main character of the film, Ellie, we understand is searching for meaning in her own life.
