This was due to technological and commercial advancements. Economically, many factors have had a positive impact, including iron and raw material production, agriculture and transportation. Politically, many things have had a positive impact, including education laws, child labor laws, age restrictions, work hours, working conditions, and bills which would create more rights for all citizens. The effects of the Industrial Revolution on the social side of society were all negative. The Industrial Revolution had many positive effects on world politics. But, to the extent that their effects on economics and politics are positive, they outweigh the negative effects on the social side of society. According to Stephen Gardiner, “the Industrial Revolution was another of those extraordinary advances in the history of civilization.” Life in the world would be totally different if the industrial revolution had never happened. The world wouldn't even be close to being that technologically advanced.
