One of the biggest debates in the console gaming world is which console is actually better, the Xbox360 or the PlayStation3? People can discuss everything from power to hardware to personal preferences. This debate goes much further than the composition of each console and most of the time comes down to consumer loyalty. People tend to pick something and stick with it, whether it's better or worse than its competitors, like the fight for Apple or Microsoft or Ford versus Chevy. Taking into account consumer loyalty will not give rise to any debate or comparison. Therefore, in order to create an accurate comparison, all biases and feelings-based facts must be discarded. This is not a debate about which is better based on usage, but rather a debate about quality using solid statistics and facts about hardware and speed. Basic elements such as number of sales, console cost and basic attributes should be looked at and are an important factor in quality, but are not the only ones. There are more important elements such as compatibility, hardware such as GPU and CPU, as well as features that increase gaming capacity. Most likely, with only a year gap between releases and having several new updates up to date and even models, it will come down to them being almost the same, at least in the eyes of consumers. Starting with the PlayStation3 or PS3 for short, it is the product of Sony Corporation and is a 7th generation console. The PS3 was first released in Japan on November 11, 2006 and in the United States on November 17, 2006. The Xbox 360 is a product of Microsoft and is also a 7th generation console. The Xbox360 was released a year earlier than the PS3, on November 22, 2005 in the United States and in Japan it was released on December 10, 2005. The release of...... middle of paper...... quality than that of the Xbox360. But there's more than just performance that weighs on a person's vote. In a world like this, the focus is on user loyalty and even if an item isn't as good, people will still choose it if they have a history of it.
