    I'm sure everyone here has seen Jaws and heard the spooky theme music that goes with it. Movies like this have given sharks a big reputation as dangerous and menacing marine animals. The media doesn't help either! Today I'm going to defend the rights of these misjudged sharks and explain why this new "catch and kill policy" is completely wrong. I'm sure after this you will believe, as I and so many others do, that sharks are jawed sharks and should not be culled. To begin, I would like to inform everyone of the capture and kill policy. This policy was introduced in Western Australia on January 26 this year, making it a relatively new policy. Western Australian Premier Colin Barnett implemented the measure following six fatal shark attacks in WA over the past two years. Barnett's plan, to kill any shark over 10 feet, will involve 2 methods. The first is to rig drum lines which, for those of you who don't know, are baited hooks attached to drums.
