It is extremely difficult to move forward in life without a high school diploma. The number of high school dropouts in the current generation is extremely disappointing. A large number of adolescents have made the decision to abandon their studies. Adolescents suffering from substance abuse, pregnancy, academic failure, and financial problems are most likely to drop out. This leads students to believe that there is no reason to try any longer. Dropping out of high school is a horrible decision that has consequences, but is preventable. Poor decision-making and negative influences cause adolescents to drop out of school. Some students use addictive drugs. Teenagers who attend parties have easy access to drugs. It starts with occasional marijuana use. Then it escalates into harder drugs. Molly has become a popular drug among teenagers. It is a pill form of ecstasy mixed with other hard drugs. This increases the feeling of energy and euphoria. Teenagers mainly use it at parties and concerts. Alcohol is also addictive. Teenagers abuse alcohol to cope with emotional stress. This leads to a fall in life and health. High schools should launch annual anti-drug campaigns among students. People think that anti-drug campaigns are not effective, but it depends on how the information is conveyed. A boring assembly saying drugs are bad won't get their attention. An anti-drug campaign is expected to last a week and allow students to participate. There should be group activities in class and games during lunch time. Additionally, students have the opportunity to create a club with administration approval. In conclusion, high school is a challenge for some students. Being a teenager is a time when people find themselves and discover who they are. It's easy to get influenced by bad behavior and join the wrong crowd. Sometimes students face family issues and can't keep up. The only decision is to abandon their studies. High school is challenging and it is difficult for students to ask for help or not know who to talk to. If parents and teachers build relationships with their students, it will prevent people from dropping out of school. Some teachers hand in the lesson plan and leave immediately. Teaching should be about educating students and not just earning them a salary. With the right help and resources, it is possible to prevent many students from dropping out of school..
