My Internship with Erin Stewart's Mayoral Campaign following her at various political fundraisers, I was indeed, I am also excited to contribute to so many forms of community outreach. Over the course of my work, making a multitude of phone calls and dropping off campaign signs, I was able to uncover many of the assumptions people had about my candidate. Usually, once a conversation began and I was bombarded with questions regarding Stewart, I ended up having to explain in a chatty speech why Stewart, if elected, was the panacea to New Britain's financial woes. Since I had to do it on site, organizing my logic was a bit difficult, but I actually learned that a little preparation can go a long way. Very often, I was usually able to convince potential voters on both sides of the aisle to consider Team Stewart as their chosen candidate.
