Regarding CanGo's rapid growth, their motivation to expand and diversify into the online gaming industry would improve the company's overall business opportunities. According to Park Associates (2010), their research showed a steady growth in time spent playing online games through multiple media. This increase would support CanGo's project in the online gaming industry. Other companies are already successfully operating in the online gaming sector. CanGo's competitive analysis will be necessary to determine its strengths and weaknesses compared to its competitors. This analysis will help CanGo determine its best business strategies to become a major competitor in the industry. At Reliable Consulting Inc., we have studied three strong competitors within the industry Cango currently operates in, as well as their future expansion into online gaming. These three main competitors are Amazon, XBOX and STEAM, they have all created similar products in the sector that CanGo is interested in. AMAZONCango's current competitor, Amazon.com, was founded in 1994 and based in Seattle, Washington. They started in a car garage and grew over the years to become one of the largest online retailers. Amazon is a multinational e-commerce company that offers products for purchase online at the consumer's home. They have developed a customer base well over 137 million and growing worldwide.
